Password Miner is released at the new year starts. It’s the program every internet user needs in 2007.Password Miner is a new idea of Password managers, it keeps your password safe, without the need to remember any of them. at the mean time it mixes the idea of having a password for each different account, and at the same time you have to remember only one master word.
Read how I got the idea of this application here.
Features of the Program:
- Completely random generation of passwords.
- Three optional inputs to create your passwords.
- Four Different password generating options (Capitals, smalls, numbers, and Symbols).
- Passwords generated are up to 1000 characters.
- You don’t have to remember the passwords, all you have to do is to enter the master word and keywords and then you will have your password again.
- No need for databases and files, there is no data to be saved. therefore no loss will occur.
- The program is very small. If you need your password in a different computer, all you have to do is to download the program or keep carrying it on your flash disk, no need for any kind of databases.
- The program doesn’t need to save any files, so your passwords are completely safe from strangers.
- Easy to use interface.
- The program has the ability to remember the keywords and username, which are useless by themselves as long as the master word is unknown.

Does Password Miner require web access to operate? Are the passwords stored locally or on a web server?

Password miner doesn’t require web access, once you install it you can use it directly on your desktop.
also password miner doesn’t even save the password either locally or on a web server, and this is one of the good things about this program. instead, password miner uses complex algorithms to regenerate the password for you anytime you need it, based on your inputs.

Help! I had a problem with my machine, and as a last resort we renamed the user profile to profile.old and created a new user profile and moved over my docs and other stuff. But now, Password Miner can’t find and of the URL’s or keywords for all of my passwords. Can you help me retrieve these so I may continue without having to have my IT change all of my passwords? This could take awhile.
Thanks! This product really does make my life at work easier.

In a future release, are you planning on allowing the “Load Keyword” drop down box to be sorted? Also, since passwords change every 90 days or so, I have to change it and I keep adding a sequential number to the end of the Keyword. Will you be making any enhancements to make this any easier/better?
Wanted to let you know too that when I first click the arrow to the right of the URL or Keyword box, the drop down box always appears at the top of the screen; then I click again and it appears next to the mouse cursor.
Thanks!
